Last month, Delta Air Lines hugely expanded their service from New York City’s LaGuardia Airport.  They introduced new service to 14 destinations, including Dallas, Miami and 6 cities in New England and upstate New York.  Another 13 will come online in July as Delta creates a domestic hub operation to complement their international hub at JFK.  Many of the routes replace the flying that US Airways had formerly handled from that airport, though Delta has committed to operate their routes with jet service (both RJs and mainline jets) where US Airways had often used turboprops.  To complement the expanded flying, Delta is renovating Terminals C and D including construction of a connector bridge between the 2 buildings and the addition of a second Delta Sky Club.
